Fondazione FS is the organisation set up to preserve the history of Italian railways. The main website is concerned with railway excursions, often steam-hauled, and the National Railway Museum at Pietrarsa (Naples).
There is an extensive digital archive of photographs, video and, as at 9th October 2020, around 600 timetables from 1899 to 2010. Not every timetable is available - including several years during the Second World War - but the coverage is still excellent.
Timetable World provides these direct links (see below) to help you. Our Italian timetables are not in Fondazione FS's archive, and we provide links to them too.
